To date, 983 souvenir models representing architectural structures and monuments and originally assembled by Barry Hoffman, are owned by the CCA. The Hoffman collection includes miniatures in materials such as metal, glass, ceramic and rice straw, some presented in the form of ashtrays, thermometers, and savings banks. The models represent actual buildings and monuments, many in the United States, but including structures in other countries and from international expositions and world’s fairs. This collection enhances the CCA’s existing holdings of over 150 souvenir buildings.
