The CCA is a participant in Building Site, an exhibition on view as part of the fourth edition of the Lisbon Triennale, The Form of Form. Through a selection of historical examples that involve the organization and conception of construction sites, the exhibition explores relationships between architectural form and practice, labour standards, production technology, and political and client attitudes. One of the exhibition’s modules presents the McAppy project by Cedric Price, held in the CCA’s archives, for which Price produced a report on improving working conditions on construction sites in Britain during the 1970s.
