Updates (what’s open, what’s not)

While some of us continue to work remotely, others have begun to prepare the CCA building for its reopening.

On 1 July, Parc Baile will reopen with a lawn design by Phyllis Lambert that responds to new requirements for socialization by suggesting intuitive patterns of gathering. At the same time, our online bookstore will resume processing orders, with a few new CCA books arriving this summer.

The main exhibition galleries will open on 16 September with The Things Around Us: 51N4E and Rural Urban Framework. On that day we will also reopen Line of Flight: Gordon Matta-Clark selected by Kitty Scott in the Octagonal gallery and Detour: Alternative Readings to Travel in the Hall Cases. New measures will be in place to ensure your health and safety.

The study room will reopen on 1 October. In the meantime, if you have any questions concerning collection access, please email Collection reference.

Many of our public programs have moved online and will be broadcast, pre-recorded or live, on our website and through YouTube or Instagram. You may visit our Calendar to see our upcoming digital events.

Our web editorial program continues to offer new content weekly and we will continue to update our social media accounts with news.
