Sub-series documents the published reviews, announcements of exhibitions, exhibition catalogues, and magazines with material by or about Gordon Matta-Clark dating from 1971 to 2008. Binder consists of published documentation on the work of Gordon Matta-Clark from the period from 1971 to 1977. It includes exhibition catalogues, reviews of exhibitions, and published interviews; these include documentation on Alternatives to the Washington Square Art Fair (1973) ; Anarchitecture (1973-1974); A W-Hole House (1973); Bingo (1974); City Slivers (1976); Conical Intersect (1975); Contrabienal (1971); Day's End (1975); Fresh Air Cart (1972); Jacks (1971); Jacob's Ladder (1977); Meander (1976); Office Baroque (1977); Open House (1972); Underground Paris (1977); Subway Graffiti (1973); Splitting (1974); Tree Dance (1971); and Walls Paper (1972). Photographs, both personal and those created for publicity, are contained in the binder, as well as correspondence and an example of a Certificate of Authenticity created to give to purchasers of his works. Also included are a series of different resumes written by Matta-Clark along with a more extensive posthumous curriculum vitae and a list of the books in his library. Binder contains photographs, slides and textual records.

Binder documents Gordon Matta-Clark's personal and professional correspondence prior to his death in August 1978, as well as correspondence addressed to Jane Crawford, his widow, and Holly Solomon, the art dealer responsible for selling Matta-Clark's work following his death. Additionally, the binder includes exhibition catalogues and reviews, periodicals, memorabilia, photographic materials, and published interviews. Documents related to the following projects are included: The Caribbean Orange (1978); Untitled Cutting (Summer 1978) for Alanna Heiss's Twentieth Century Ruins; Jacob's Ladder (1977); Office Baroque (1977); Plaza Culturale (1977); and Untitled Cutting (Museum of Modern Art) (1978). Binder contains textual records, photographs, slides, and reprographic copies.

Binder documents the years 1980-1989 and consists of correspondence with Jane Crawford concerning the sale and exhibition of Gordon Matta-Clark's work and the efforts made to save the project Office Baroque (1977) in Antwerp, Belguim. Also included are reviews of exhibitions, catalogues, periodicals, photographs and color slides. Extensive documentation on the exhibition "Gordon Matta-Clark: A Retrospective" organized by the Museum of Contemporary Art, Chicago, Illinois, which opened in 1985 and travelled to fourteen venues, is included, along with more limited documentation on smaller exhibitions. Binder contains photographs, slides, textual records and transparencies.

A number of reviews are for the major 1992-1993 exhibition "Gordon Matta-Clark", organized by IVAM Centre Julio Gonzalez in Valencia, Spain, which traveled to London, United Kingdom, and Marseilles, France as well as the 1997 exhibition "Reorganizing Structure by Drawings Through It: Zeichnung bei Gordon Matta-Clark" organized by the Generali Foundation in Vienna, Austria at P.S. 1 Contemporary Art Center in New York City, the Museum of Contemporary Art in Barcelona, Spain and the Westfälisches Landesmuseum für Kunst und Kulturgeschichte in Münster, Germany. Also contained in the binder is correspondence and information relating to the Gordon Matta-Clark Trust, which awarded fellowships to artists. Binder contains photographs and textual records.
