File documents the conceptual master plan for The Water Gardens, Coto de Macairena, Granada, Spain. The master plan proposes the design of a Zone of Leisure that would include a touristic and cultural complex, two hotels, parking and a public garden that would provide a link to the adjacent National Park of Sierra Nevada. The development of the project was undertaken by a multidisciplinary team that was led by Richard Rogers and Ingenia QED and included Alonso-Balaguer y Arquitectos Asociados, Mecanoo, Atelier Jean Nouvel, Estudio Mariscal and the Foreign Office Architects. Material in this file was produced in December 2006.
File includes a project information package, correspondence, and an unbound project brief by the Richard Rogers Partnership.
