Scope and Content

File documents an unsuccessful competition entry for the Vesuvio Est Railway international competition, Naples, Italy. The anonymous design competition, organized by Rete Ferroviaria Italiana (RFI) and Gruppo Ferrovie Dello Stato with a budget of 32.5 million EUR, called for the development a preliminary plan for an Interchange station between a High-Speed and regular rail line, as well as a parking area for the station. Material in this file was produced in 2009.

File includes copies of maps of railway lines and printouts of Google-generated satellite images of the competition site.
