File documents Next, the 8th International Architecture Exhibition at the Venice Biennale of Architecture, Venice, Italy, from 8 September to 3 November 2002. It was directed by Deyan Sudjic and held at the Arsenale and Giardini site. Material in this file was produced between 2002 and 2008.

    This video recording was made inside the British Pavilion at the Venice Biennale's 8th International Architecture Exhibition: Next. The recording depicts three to four people inspecting a series of empty rooms and having a conversation regarding the painting of the gallery walls, possibly before the work of the Foreign Office Architects was to be installed.
