Addressing contemporary environmental issues requires a change of perspective which takes the environment, rather than human demands on natural resources, as the starting point for reflection. Environ(ne)ment presents the work of French landscape designer and gardener Gilles Clément and Swiss architect Philippe Rahm as two different approaches to the environment for tomorrow. They focus not on technological or aesthetic problems, but rather ethical ones, as we reconsider our approaches to growth, development, and comfort.
