We won’t be the same after this conversation…well, at least we shouldn’t be

Event, in English, University of Hong Kong, Pokfulam Road, Faculty of Architecture, Room KB730, 7/F, Knowles Building, 31 May 2019, 1pm

CCA Chief Curator Giovanna Borasi gives a keynote presentation during the graduate student conference TRANSFER: Diffusions and Mobilities in the Built Landscapes of Asia and Beyond, at the University of Hong Kong Faculty of Architecture. “We won’t be the same after this conversation…well, at least we shouldn’t be” addresses the transformative impact that the movement of goods, ideas, architectural types, tools, and forms of expertise have had and are having on the built environment, whether intentional or not. This presentation will concentrate on two projects: the exhibition Journeys: How travelling fruit, ideas and buildings rearrange our environment, and the initiative CCA c/o.
