Living Land: Kids’ Day at the CCA

A day of architecture workshops and play for ages 5 to 12
Young Public, 7 March 2024, 9am to 3:30pm

We invite kids to get out of the house and into the CCA for a day of free activities inspired by Ange Loft’s installation Visibly Iroquoian. In addition to a guided tour of the installation, participants will take part in the Carrying Patterns: Making Visible an Iroquoian Montréal workshop, which will invite them to familiarize themselves with Iroquoian aesthetics, iconography, and ancestral patterns through observation, map making, and drawing. Games (both inside and outside) and reading will also be on the agenda. It’s an occasion to have fun while learning more about the uses and history of Iroquoian territories around the CCA and in Tiohtià:ke/Mooniyang/Montréal.
