Biographical note:

A collaboration between Giovanni de Paoli and Pierlucio Pellissier started in 1977 at the school of architecture of the Université de Montréal, in the Groupe de Recherche Énergies Nouvelles (GREN) directed by Roger Camous; within this group, in 1977, design a nursery with active and passive solar heating for the Petawawa National Forestry Institute, Chalk River, Ontario; in 1978, design and construction of the solarisation of the Richer house, on the Lake Nominingue; in 1981, in association with the Brace Research Institute (McGill University), design and construction of a distiller of brackish water, in Punta Canoas, Colombia; in 1982, creation of the agency De Paoli & Pellissier Ltée Design-recherche Systèmes solaires; within this association, conception and construction of the Bernard Laurin house, in St-Benoît, Mirabel (1982).
