The Research Fellowship Program allows for scholars, practitioners, thinkers, researchers, writers, and curators to pursue interdisciplinary research on architecture, urbanism, and design at the CCA. Applications for the fellowship are accepted every summer.

The Doctoral Students Residency Program offers PhD candidates four to six-week summer residencies, to pursue archival research on the CCA’s collection. The CCA accepts applications and nominations for the Doctoral Students Program every winter.

The Master’s Students Program is a three-month residency at the CCA for master’s students enrolled in professional and post-professional architecture, landscape architecture, environmental design, and urban design programs in Canada, regardless of citizenship. The CCA opens applications for the program every winter.

The Emerging Curator Residency Program offers candidates with the opportunity to produce a project, related to contemporary debates in architecture, urban issues, landscape design and/or socio-cultural dynamics, with the CCA.
