The Architects’ Association of Catalonia (COAC) hosts a screening of With an Acre, a film that follows architect Carla Juaçaba as she develops a museum and community space in solidarity with Flor de Café, a collective of smallholder farmers in Minas Gerais resisting extractive industrial agriculture.
The screening is accompanied by a conversation between Milena Rodrigues (Flor de Café) and Albert Ferré (CCA) on the ecological concerns that underlie Carla Juaçaba’s project and the practice of agroforestry developed by Flor de Café. With an Acre is the third and final chapter of the Groundwork series.
