Always the results of our broader research interests, exhibitions allow us to investigate architecture’s role in the world and to create conditions that prompt new ideas of architecture to develop. Our exhibitions aim to show how architecture, the city, landscape, the environment, and all of us are interwoven. We are interested in what architecture is responsible for, and how it can contribute to defining problems and proposing new alternatives.

We see each exhibition as an opportunity to redefine curatorial practice, to experiment with formats, and to create new ways of engaging our collection. We also consider architecture as a medium for curatorial exploration, and we work with architects and designers to create spaces that are in dialogue with a specific curatorial approach.

We present exhibitions in Montréal and work with other institutions to present our work and collection elsewhere through touring exhibitions and other collaborative formats.
