Do we need to build?

Archipelago: Architectures for the Multiverse
CCA elsewhere, in English, online, 6 May, 11:30am (Montréal) / 6:30pm (Geneva)

CCA Curator, Public, Lev Bratishenko will be in conversation with Sepake Angiama, Marina Otero, Catherine Ince, Natacha Guillaumont, Nicolas Phan, Matevz Celik, Anton Belov, and Javier Fernandez Contreras, moderated by Vera Sacchetti. Can we challenge the assumption that disciplinary concerns within interiors, architecture, and landscape need always to produce material interventions? What are the ways that practitioners, teachers, and researchers can foster a critical approach towards their work, to step up or step back?

This event opens three days of disaffiliated inquiry into the potential for archipelagic thinking to produce new perspectives on contemporary design discourse, structured through a series of prompts to conceptualize concrete paths forward.

Archipelago: Architectures for the Multiverse is the first edition of a digitally-anchored international event that began as a partnership between HEPIA and HEAD.

The event is free and open to the public. It will be broadcast live on Archipelago’s website.
