Designing the Computational Image, Imagining Computational Design visually examines the twentieth-century emergence of new methods for representation, simulation, and manufacturing linked to computers, and reflects on their contemporary repercussions across creative fields.
Join the co-authors and co-editors Daniel Cardoso Llach and Theodora Vardouli and discussants Sofian Audry, Rafico Ruiz, and Molly Wright Steenson for a conversation on the materialities, visualities, and agencies of the computational image. The discussion will be accompanied by a book display (Room 101) and a reception at 7pm (Room 102).
Also, look out for the CCA Bookstore pop-up from 5-8pm.
