À la fois réceptacle et sanctuaire, demeure et nid, cette oeuvre contemplative, éclairée de l'intérieur, aux qualités plastiques saisissantes, nous renvoyait à des besoins universels liés d'une manière ou d'une autre aux notions d'enveloppement, de contemplation, d'habitat et d'urbanisme. Or, si la présentation de l'exposition «Réflexions» est à l'origine de ce projet de publication, c'est d'abord la maturité d'une démarche solidement construite sur plus de trente années de carrière artistique qui nous a persuadé de la pertinence de réaliser cette monographie portant sur l'oeuvre de Linda Covit.
