Description:
The series documents Susan Wagg's research for the exhibition “Money Matters: A Critical Look at Bank Architecture”on bank buildings in the United States and in Canada. It contains her research files on each bank building presented in the exhibition and more general research on bank architecture and architects or architectural firms who designed banks. The series contains a research file for each of the bank buildings studied for the exhibition, which mainly consist of photocopies of articles and press clippings. Also included are more general research files on banks, which include press clippings and photocopies of publicatons, leaflets, and promotional material, as well as some reference photographs. Furthermore, the series contains texts and labels for the exhibition at the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston, and for the venue at Columbia University.

The Brian Boigon fonds, 1981–2015, documents various creative and professional projects by artist and data-architect, Brian Boigon. The majority of the fonds documents the multidisciplinary symposium series Culture Lab. Material in the fonds also documents Boigon’s research into cartoon movement in cyberspace in the form of both the Cartoon Regulators and Spillville. The fonds also contains records pertaining to Boigon’s web design company, Roller Coaster Studios. The records in the fonds largely consist of research and planning material, photographs and AV recordings documenting the projects, and sketches by Boigon and others.

Correspondence documents Frampton’s role as: a tutor at the Royal College of Art; the technical editor of the magazine Architectural Design; a visiting professor at Princeton University; a Fellow of the Institute for Architecture and Urban Studies; and Associate professor and, subsequently, Ware professor of the Graduate School of Architecture, Planning and Preservation (GSAPP), Columbia University. Throughout his extensive career, Frampton corresponded with various students, architects, professors, publishers, editors, and architecture associations.
