Errant #3 takes the ambiguous feeling of discomfort as a productive space to think from. What if instead of avoiding discomfort, we lean into it, dwell on it, stay with it so as to be able to learn from it? Central to the issue is the presence of discomfort as it accompanies the work of decoloniality, both in positions of marginalisation and of those who perhaps feel their comfort shaken for the first time. The contributions explore discomfort through personal histories, as well as curatorial, architectural & psychoanalytic perspectives.

Summary:
BRUTHER is the Paris-based architectural studio launched by Stéphanie Bru and Alexandre Theriot in 2007. Describing architecture as a ''combat sport'', the duo rose to international prominence in 2014. Competitions, experiments, and investigations, are all part of a work process they see as a strategic game, a balancing act between abstraction and function, diversity and uniformity, opacity and transparency. This edition presents the full extent of their work through 29 projects, ranging from collective housing and cultural and educational institutions to pavilions and exhibitions. While many are small in scale or unbuilt, they nevertheless allow an in-depth look at the practice.

Also included six examples of interventions on heritage in Spain, which avoid altering the relationship between the remains and their environment. The construction section features the sports park designed by MAD Architects in Quzhou, where the stadium, the first element to be completed, is gradually unveiled as a light floating structure from the different paths that lead to the venue.
