This project series documents the Cais de embarque para european architects in Salonica, Greece. While the records were held in the office’s archives this project was assigned the number 75/90. The office assigned the date 1996 for this project In 1997, Thessaloniki was the host city for the event "Cultural Capital of Europe." An architectural initiative named "Provoking spatial episodes - On the coast" was created to celebrate the relationship between the sea and the city. Several architects were invited to design small piers on the coast. For Siza, the program criteria included the construction of a pier able to receive 250 people, debaring area for catamarans, house ticket dispensers, waiting room, press room and food stall. Documenting this project are sketches, studies, presentation drawings, and project documentation. Slides document the project model.

While the records were held in the office’s archives this project was assigned the number 79/90. The office assigned the dates 1996-1998 to this project. The project is divided into four buildings. Edificio 1 was a 5150 m3 three-storey building for offices and commercial use. Edificio 2 was a 2914 m3 four-storey residential unit, with space for stores on the ground floor. Edificios 3 and 4 are dwellings that are already built and were intended to be restored. The project was not realized. Documenting this project are sketches, plans, studies, and details. Photographic material documents the models. Texual material includes project documentation and correspondence with the client.

The office assigned the date 2003 to this project. The project site is located in the Santa María de Benquerencia district on a 250 000 square meter site. The project was a collaboration with the architect Antonio Sánchez Horneros. The building included 800 hospital rooms, 600 beds, and 30 operating theaters. The design for the operating theaters [rooms?] accounts for potential future expansions to accomodate new technologies. The interior arrangement of the building was organized in collaboration with medical persone in order to design the space for their needs. In 2018, the hospital is presently in construction. Documenting this project are studies and plans. Textual documentation includes project documentation.

Sub-series contains reference materials including typescripts dated from the early 1960s, articles and drafts of articles, translations, publications, regulations, postcards and invitation cards. It contains also materials from the surviving office library of James Stirling and Michael Wilford as it existed in 2000 when it was housed at 8 Fitzroy Square in London. During the processing the office library, a selection publications were transferred in the CCA library collection to facilitate description and access. This sub-series contains part of the published materials that remained in the archives.

In the past the office identified the project as number 130. The office assigned the date 1971-1974 for this project. This project was a three storey bank on the corner of the main square of Oliveira de Azeméis. The building was surrounded by a courthouse and a 17th century home. It included a reception office, strong-room, changing rooms, and sanitary installations. The building was built in concrete between the years 1971 and 1974. The project series contains sketches and studies, as well as working drawings and floor plans. Textual materials include project documentation and correspondence. The photographs and slides primarily document the model and built project.

The office assigned the date 1999 for this project The project, a collaboration with Eduardo Souto de Moura, was for the Portuguese pavilion at Expo 2000 in Hannover. The exterior of the pavillion was made of natural materials including cork, limestone, and tiles. The use of expanded cork was symbolic, as Portugal is the principal producer worldwide. The building could be dismantled and was moved from Hannover and rebuilt in Coimbra in 2002. It was renamed Pavilhão Centro de Portugal and served as a venue for concerts, exhibitions and other cultural events. Documenting this project are sketches and elevations. Textual materials include documentation about the reconstruction in Coimbra. Photographic material documents the built project.
