The project series documents "Handmade", an installation by Pettena presented at ALT Collection, in Alzano Lombardo, in 2012. The installation consists of covering an entier existing wall of the exhibition space with handmade balls of clay that maintained the size and the imprints of fists that shaped them. The installation is "statement on the importance of the use of natural materials and of the presence of the human being as an actor to connote in whoever uses them a greater and more conscious participation in the gesture and in its production, whether creative or not."
