ARIAH Careers in Art History Internships
We are pleased to participate in The Association of Research Institutes in Art History (ARIAH)’s Careers in Art History Internships program. ARIAH is offering paid professional development internships for up to twenty students and recent graduates interested in careers at art museums and art history research centers. The internships will be virtual, and participants will commit from 8 to 10 hours per week for a period of four weeks. Prior museum experience is not required, and applicants from all backgrounds are encouraged to apply.
The CCA’s internships will introduce decolonizing and digitization practices, and interns will work with our North African and Middle Eastern photography collections.
The following ARIAH institutions are also participating in the Careers in Art History Internships: Archives of American Art; Center for Advanced Study in the Visual Arts at the National Gallery of Art; Clark Art Institute; The Frick Art Reference Library, part of the Frick Collection; the Metropolitan Museum of Art; Winterthur Museum, Garden, and Library; and the Yale Center for British Art.
Application deadline: 16 October 2020
Program dates: 9 November to 11 December 2020
Please visit ARIAH’s website for program information, contact details, and to apply.
