Power Corporation of Canada Award
Research, 1 June 2007 to 31 August 2007

The 2007 CCA Master’s Students Program invited candidates to propose a research project on urban agriculture in Canada from a historical, theoretical or critical perspective. During their three-month residency at the CCA, participants produced an online publication, Plotluck: Urban Agriculture in Canada. Their research investigates urban gardening in the backyards of Montréal’s Italian neighbourhood, as well as urban agriculture in Montréal and in Canadian inner suburbs.
