Lunchtime concerts: Karim Nasr, clarinet, 1800

Special event, Baile Park, 31 July, 12:30pm

Karim Nasr plays music by Beethoven, François Devienne, Robert Fuchs, and Michel-Joseph Gebauer in the third of our outdoor concerts. These summer sessions jump through time to sample and contrast period music from the thirteenth century until today. All concerts take place on the green park in front of the CCA, unless it rains—then they move indoors to the Shaughnessy House.

In addition to performance, Karim Nasr is also a music publisher and instrument maker. He can be heard on the Alpha, Atma, and Analekta labels.
