Violinist Laura Andriani and Cellist Elinor Frey perform string works from mid-twentieth-century Italy, including a solo cello work by Luigi Dallapiccola, a professor at the Florence Conservatory of Music, and the violin “Sequenza” by Luciano Berio, among other works.
Inspired by our exhibition Utopie Radicali: Florence 1966–1976, we present a series of free outdoor classical concerts that explore music written in and around Florence.
Utopie Radicali: Florence 1966–1976 is organized by the Fondazione Palazzo Strozzi, Fondazione CR Firenze, and Osservatorio per le Arti Contemporanee, Florence.
