Besides, History: Go Hasegawa, Kersten Geers, David Van Severen

Exhibition, Serralves Museum, Porto, 28 June to 15 October

Besides, History: Go Hasegawa, Kersten Geers, David Van Severen is on tour at the Serralves Museum in Porto, continuing a three-party conversation between two architecture practices and history. In this exhibition, the architects reread, redraw, translate, and appropriate from the past and from each other in order to construct relationships and meaning out of a constellation of references. History becomes something that can be used rather than just studied.

On 28 June, at 7:00pm, Giovanna Borasi, CCA Chief Curator and curator of Besides, History, and Carles Muro, Adjunct Curator for Architecture Programmes, Serralves Museum, will lead a tour of the exhibition. The opening program continues on 29 June, at 6:30pm, with presentations by and conversations with Hasegawa, Geers, Van Severen, Borasi, and Muro.
