Futurniture

Family program, in English and French, Shaughnessy House, 29 September, 10am to 2pm

On the occasion of Journée de la Culture, come make new friends while designing radical furniture. The workshop Futurniture proposes an exploration of ideas from the exhibition Utopie Radicali: Florence 1966–1976 by following silly imposed rules and making layered drawings from spoken descriptions. Families will create furniture for a new global disco, collaboratively.

For children ages 5 to 13 years accompanied by parents.

Utopie Radicali: Florence 1966–1976 is organized by the Fondazione Palazzo Strozzi, Fondazione CR Firenze, and Osservatorio per le Arti Contemporanee, Florence.
