Opening: A Section of Now

Event, 13 November, 11am to 7:30pm

Join us for the opening of A Section of Now: Social Norms and Rituals as Sites for Architectural Intervention, an exhibition that examines the society in which we currently live with a focus on expanding notions of family, property ownership, activism, work, technology, and life cycles. How can architecture and urbanism better understand our contemporary conditions, and how might they adapt to better address the challenges these conditions present?

In lieu of a traditional evening opening with food and drink, you can now select a time slot that suits your schedule and your individual curiosity. Due to current health measures, we have reduced the capacity of our galleries. We invite you to reserve a slot in advance to ensure a safe and comfortable opening experience. Each time slot includes a pre-recorded introductory talk and an audio introduction to each gallery. The afternoon slots also include live conversations with special guests. Bubbles of up to 4 people can reserve spots as one booking group (please specify the number of people in your bubble).

11am – noon: Visit the exhibition
