As part of the third chapter of Retail Apocalypse, the CCA invited SSENSE, the global technology platform headquartered in Montréal and operating at the intersection of culture, community, and commerce, to co-produce Retail Apocalypse: The Epilogue. The short film, which investigates new approaches to retail at a time when the digital world is disrupting all commonplace notions and practices of shopping, features interviews by Jack Self, Ross Scarano, Irene Chin, Niels Olsen, and Fredi Fischli, with Rami Atallah (SSENSE), Melissa Malik (SSENSE), Samir Bantal (AMO at OMA), Justin Louis (Section 35), Kateřina Frejlachová and Tadeáš Říha (architects and curators of Steel Cities), and Samuel Ross (A-COLD-WALL). It is written and narrated by Jack Self and directed by Emmanuel Mauriès-Rinfret.
