Physical characteristics and technical requirements:

- Contemporary binding consists of a grey paper cover and spine. Pages are of yellowish paper. Secondary supports are of light brownish grey paper. The book consists of a title page, pages of text about aircrafts, maps and pages of text about Zeppelins onto which numbered photographs (cigarette cards) are mounted. The book comprises 264 photographs, as well as one cigarette card bearing foil representations of a coin commemorating the Zeppelin's around the world flight in 1929-1930. The cigarette card bearing this foil representation is numbered "177" in the book. The photographs are numbered "1"-"176" and "178"-"265", and each has a dark brown border framing the photograph.
