In v. 1, D. de Rossi singles out Alessandro Specchi as the principal contributor of measurements, drawing and engraving. In that vol. and successive vols. plates are attributed to C. Quadri (drawing) and A. Barbey and F. Bartoli (engraving) (54); v. 2, unsigned but Specchi and F. Aquila are mentioned on the t.p.; v. 3, of those signed (24), G. Valvassori and F. Vasconi provided 16.
Vol. 1: 143 [i.e. 151] leaves. Engraved, except for leaf 3 and leaf 143. Plates 9, 17, 20, 31, 64, 65, 98 and 124 are each printed on 2 leaves.
Vol. 2: 62 [i.e. 65] leaves. Engraved throughout. Plates 4, 34 and 48 are each printed on 2 leaves.
Vol. 3: 83 [i.e. 109] leaves. Engraved throughout. Plates 6, 17-19, 22-23, 25, 27-29, 31, 36-37, 40, 58-59, 63-64, 73, 75-77, 80-83 are each printed on 2 leaves. Plates 80-82 are 3 parts of a single image (principle façade of the Real Palazzo in Naples).
