Possibly another issue of plates issued in 1730 with a text entitled: The present state of the new buildings of Queen's College in Oxford : with an ichnography of the whole, and cuts of the several parts of the said buildings engraved. The text, together with one of the plates, was originally issued in 1718 by John Gibson, at that time provost of Queen's College. Another version of the text was issued in 1730 by Joseph Smith, Gibson's successor together with several plates engraved by Michael Burghers. Burghers may have worked from design drawings by William Townesend (cf. DNB; Hugh Pagan Ltd. Catalogue 40).
