Ce phénomène engendre un mouvement architectural conduit par les plus fameux architectes internationaux, quand il y a quelques années, le monde de la mode se limitait à de rares incursions dans le domaine de la décoration intérieure. Les projets sélectionnés ici, représentant une nouvelle génération de constructions auxquelles nous devons porter une attention toute particulière puisque caractéristiques et déterminantes d'une nouvelle architecture corporative. La structure du livre, qui regroupe, après la présentation de chaque grande marque, les bâtiments produits, permet de comprendre les principes philosophiques de chaque firme et son évolution dans le domaine de l'architecture. Nous analyserons les rapports volumétriques de chaque édifice et leur langage formel, autant de points déterminants à leur statut d'objets médiatiques, mais aussi les détails constructifs qui nous renvoient aux nouvelles technologies appliquées à leurs mises en œuvre.
