En 2005, la 16è édition du Festival international de l’affiche et des arts graphiques de Chaumont (France) présente un large panoramique du travail du maître moderniste A.M. Cassandre, les créations récentes, entre imprimé et écran, du graphiste français Christophe Jacquet dit Toffe et invite l'école néerlandaise Werplaats Typografie. Sur les 1800 nouvelles affiches reçues pour le Concours International qui viennent enrichir le fonds contemporain, 100 affiches ont été sélectionnées et sont présentées dans ce catalogue. Le Festival propose également une relecture critique du fonds historique d’affiches Dutailly par le jeune amstellodamois Harmen Liemburg. Les “A-ce-qu’on-dit”, locutions ordinaires de David Poullard envahissent et viennent questionner l’espace public.
