Summary:
Frachon and Lecharny explore the very essence of form through a radical, experimental approach. Their work rethinks design by focusing not on function but on the intrinsic nature of shape: "How does a hole behave? A hole inside a hole? … Is it the matter that surrounds it, or its constitutive void?". The book is structured into four elemental themes the Hole, the Triangle, the Jonc doucine, and the Dissonance and is framed by their provocative Abstract Design Manifesto, revealing the conceptual backbone of their work. This publication is more than a catalog; it marks their first major presentation following their recognition as laureates of the Audi Talents Awards.

Summary:

The present publication, the first to trace his career to date, provides a comprehensive overview of his creations, complemented by critical essays and a text by the designer himself.
