Sub-series documents exhibitions of the projects of James Stirling, and the successive firms of James Stirling; Stirling and Gowan; James Stirling and Partner; James Stirling, Michael Wilford, and Associates; and Michael Wilford and Partners. Exhibitions were held in London, England and New York City, New York, and several other locations, including Dortmund, Germany; Venice, Rome, Bologna and Vicenza, Italy; and Arc-et-Senans, France. Material in this sub-series was produced between 1969 and 2000. Sub-series contains a few reference and design development drawings, presentation panels, and a small number of working drawings. Photographic materials include views of exhibitions by photographers George Cserna and Bevan Davies. It also contains textual records, including drawings for exhibition layouts, drafts of texts and layouts of exhibition catalogues, clippings and correspondence.

Alterations and additions to the restaurant include the addition of a bar and lounge, private dining room, new boiler room, fixed seating, a new charcoal grill, folding doors, and a wall display unit. The file contains survey plans, sketches that illustrate proposed interior renovations and a complete sequence of drawings numbered 1 to 5. Material in this file was produced between 1960 and 1962. Based on the content of the file, Mrs. M.T. Druitt was the director, and Mrs. H. Lovell-Green was the managing director of the Pantiles Tea Barn, Limited. The renovation converted smaller office spaces into an art gallery, office space and viewing area, and added basement storage. Drawings include reflected ceiling plans, details for window display units, furniture, and custom design lighting fixtures. One detail section for the proposed lighting shows a metal space frame which incorporates adjustable spot lighting and plastic egg crate shaped diffusers with fluorescent tube lighting. Final custom lighting fixtures were composed of aluminum brackets and lighting channels. A continuous picture rail channel was positioned above the aluminum bracket, forming a visually unified multi-use fixture. Material in this file was produced between 1961 and 1966.
