Text by Will Bradley, Adam Budak, Friedemann Malsch, Jan Verwoert, Anthony Vidler. Monika Sosnowska was born in 1972 in Ryki, Poland. She studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Poznan and the Rijksakademie in Amsterdam, and currently she lives and works in Warsaw. She represented Poland at last year's art Biennale in Venice. In her installations that echo the formal language of constructivist avant-garde, minimal and conceptual tendencies of the 60s and the 70s as well as a heritage of modernist architecture, Monika Sosnowska constructs a physical and conceptual labyrinth, a post-narrative, inner world of spatiality, staged in a sequence of interventions that emphasize spaces virtualities and potentials.

Summary:
This monograph of work and projects by Venezuelan-born, Swiss-based architect Christian Kerez seeks to elucidate his particular approach, which emphasises how architecture does not exist in and of itself, but is rather a reflection of a practice of questioning, and of working with the unexpected. At its core, the things we take for granted must be seen again, in a new light. Architecture critic Erwin Viray delves into this kind of reasoning in a conversation with Kerez, while the book beautifully presents examples of his designs, among them, a high-rise in Zhengzhou, the Museum of Modern Art in Warsaw, social housing in Paraisópolis and a school building in Munich.

Summary:
Things We Do Together. The Post-Reader is a collection of essays and honest conversations with practitioners. It is based on experiences and observations of long-term processes taking place at the intersection of art, education, and activism. Collaboration is more than simply a mechanism for the collective management of resources. It can be a way of disrupting existing systems both in the art world and in everyday life, where capitalism and extreme individualism lead to the collapse of communities and the deepening of social inequalities. The publication’s starting point was the exhibition-meeting "Gotong Royong Things We Do Together" at Ujazdowski Castle Centre for Contemporary Art, Warsaw, at the end of 2017.

Summary:
''Rotation'' is an ongoing photographic series exploring how urban development reshapes our relationship with space—public, personal, and imagined. It invites viewers to reconsider orientation, perspective, and the fragility of boundaries between the built environment and the body. Referencing the disorientation of outer space—where gravity dissolves the idea of ‘up’ and ‘down’—the series plays with visual perspective and suspension. Many images are shot through glass, integrating reflections that allude to invisible connections between people and places. This use of light and surface evokes a sense of weightlessness and fluid identity. Since 2021, Rotation has evolved through collaborations with over 20 organizations across cities such as London, Berlin, Stockholm, and Warsaw. With more than 70 works created so far, the project continues to map spatial perception through image-making—blurring lines between architecture, motion, and memory.

Summary:
Born in Warsaw in 1926, Joseph Rykwert is one of the best-known critics and historians of architecture. One of very few writers to be awarded the RIBA’s highest honour, the Royal Gold Medal, in 2014, and author of countless books and essays, his influence over the past 60 years cannot be underestimated. In this memoir he tells for the first time of how his life’s experiences shaped his working life. He addresses the dualities between which he had to navigate: Jewish/Polish, Polish/British and later, Practice/Scholarship. He spent most of his working life between the US and UK and worked both as a designer and a writer; as such his ground-breaking ideas and work have had a major impact on the thinking of architects and designers since the 1960s and continue to do so to this day.
