Le musée est-il toujours le lieu de l'art contemporain ? L'intervention de l'artiste dans l'espace urbain est-elle plus libre que celle de l'architecte ? Qu'en est-il de l'autonomie de l'œuvre après l'ère postmoderne ? Ces interrogations émergent d'un dialogue passionnant à partir duquel l'artiste et l'architecte échangent véritablement leur point de vue sur des démarches distinctes par nature et similaires dans le désir d'intégrer le contexte plastique, architectural, historique, sociologique, esthétique dans leur travail. Cette conférence, présentée par Frédéric Migayrou et Jean-Louis Maubant, donne lieu à une confrontation engagée autour de la notion d'espace dans l'art et l'architecture.
