Since 2004, Manuel Cervantes Estudio has approached architecture as a dialogue with territory, culture, and time. Driven by exploration, the studio develops processes rooted in research, observation, and the distillation of local conditions – climate, materials, craft, and everyday life – into clear and essential forms. Ranging from social housing to pavilions and infrastructure, its projects balance innovation with restraint, seeking synthesis through structural clarity and environmental responsibility. Founded by Manuel Cervantes Céspedes, the practice bridges design, research, and teaching, and is recognised as a leading voice in contemporary Mexican architecture.

Résumé:
This book presents excerpts from several interviews with the architectural team of Jacques Herzog and Pierre de Meuron in which artist Rémy Zaugg poses a number of provocative questions relating to the architects' thoughts about architecture and art. These thoughtful and informative discussions offer valuable insights into the architectural concepts that underly the work of Herzog & de Meuron, who consciously design their buildings in dialogue with such artists as Joseph Beuys, Thomas Ruff, Helmut Federle and Rémy Zaugg and have developed a practice based on the principle of co-authorship.

Stan Allen is an architect and educator who has won global acclaim, primarily for his work in town planning and his influential 1996 essay ''Field Conditions.'' His new book ''Situated Objects'' shows a unique facet of his creative process: a selection of small buildings and projects on rural sites, most of them situated within the landscape of the Hudson Valley, New York. They demonstrate an approach to architecture that engages in a dialogue with this partly wild and wholly non-urban environment that lies just outside the gates of New York City.

Résumé:
Combining civic architecture projects with contributions by writers, historians and artists ranging from Dan Graham to Fran Lebowitz, this publication constructs a dialogue with the legacy of the late architect and longtime Cooper Union professor Diane Lewis (1951-2017). Lewis' pedagogy defined Cooper Union's architecture departure from the 1970s to the mid-2000s. Here, architectural historians Barry Bergdoll and Daniel Sherer converse about the themes and approach in her pedagogical style and thinking. Architects, former students, colleagues and friends generate projects as a continuous discourse with Lewis' pedagogy, carrying her legacy into contemporary dialogues.
