La littérature joue un rôle important en tant que révélateur d’un rapport dynamique au végétal, basé sur une sensibilité écologique : c’est ce que cherche à montrer cet essai, qui offre une synthèse des réflexions collectives menées dans le cadre du groupe de recherche L’imaginaire botanique. « Entre les feuilles : explorations de l’imaginaire botanique contemporain » adopte une approche botanique de la littérature développée à partir de l’analyse d’un corpus de textes publiés depuis les années 1980, émanant des différentes régions de la francophonie. Aux figures de l’herbier, du jardin, du champ et de la forêt, qui forment les quatre grands axes de la réflexion, s’ajoute un axe transversal, celui de la mobilité des plantes, obligeant à reconsidérer les préconceptions de la plante comme être non doué de mouvement.
