Ce petit livre a pour point de départ la question « Qu'est-ce qu'une bonne affiche ? » et s'en détourne au fur et à mesure qu'il se déploie, confronté à la complexité de cette interrogation, qui porte à la fois sur la vérité, la justesse, la fonctionnalité ou encore le bon goût d'une production graphique. Le texte résulte d'un travail d'entretiens menés au Signe par Léo Carbonnet et Léonore Conte durant une résidence de deux mois ; il peut être lu autant comme une longue phrase, un dialogue ou une liste plus silencieuse de principes. En octobre 2025, il a été enrichi d'une documentation visuelle extraite du fonds d'affiches du Signe, sélectionnée et disposée sous forme d'inserts par les étudiantes du DSAA design graphique et médiation du lycée Charles-de-Gaulle de Chaumont à l'occasion d'un workshop.

Ce petit livre a pour point de départ la question « Qu'est-ce qu'une bonne affiche ? » et s'en détourne au fur et à mesure qu'il se déploie, confronté à la complexité de cette interrogation, qui porte à la fois sur la vérité, la justesse, la fonctionnalité ou encore le bon goût d'une production graphique. Le texte résulte d'un travail d'entretiens menés au Signe par Léo Carbonnet et Léonore Conte durant une résidence de deux mois ; il peut être lu autant comme une longue phrase, un dialogue ou une liste plus silencieuse de principes. En octobre 2025, il a été enrichi d'une documentation visuelle extraite du fonds d'affiches du Signe, sélectionnée et disposée sous forme d'inserts par les étudiantes du DSAA design graphique et médiation du lycée Charles-de-Gaulle de Chaumont à l'occasion d'un workshop.
