Description:
This project series documents furnishings for the Toronto Sun building in downtown Toronto from 1973-1975. The office identified the project number as 7324. This project consisted of the detailed planning of layouts for furnishings inside the Toronto Sun press plant and office building at 333 King Street East, which was constructed by Parkin Architects Planners beginning in the same year. The furnishings included lighting, cabinets, appliances, furniture, partitions and carpeting as well as special considerations for departments such as the photo lab, engraving, and publishing. The project is recorded through drawings and textual records dating from around 1973-1975. The drawings consist mainly of floor plans showing detailed layouts of the building. The textual records include correspondence, conference reports, interoffice letters and the process description.

This project series documents the Plano Geral da Expo '92 in Seville, Spain While the records were held in the office’s archives this project was assigned the number 42/80. The office assigned the date 1986 to this project. The project files document the competition for the master plan of the 1992 Universal Exposition of Seville. Adalberto Dias and Eduardo Souta de Moura collaborated on this project while working at Siza's office. The master plan proposed by Siza and his team included the creation of a link between Seville and the Island of the Carthusians. Siza's proposal was not chosen by the organization. Documenting this project are studies and site plans. Textual materials include competition documentation. Photographs and negatives document the project site and model.

Parkin began the design and construction of the Etobicoke General Hospital in 1966. Following this date, he completed numerous additional projects for the site. This project documents alterations done to the hospital after its initial construction. The project is recorded through drawings and textual records dating from 1975-1976. The drawings consist of floor plans, details, and structural plans. Textual records include site reports, conference reports, design notes, correspondence, financial records, change orders and tender documents. File AP018.S1.1975.PR11.005 includes an index to the textual records, which was created by the office.
