Its work has been recognised for a personalised approach, contextual sensitivity, experimental material use, and a minimalism reflective of the Sri Lankan ethos. ''After nearly two decades of implementing digital tools, we have reached a new platform where digital design and robotic production are the norm, and by extension, digital craft and integral design are as the future. This has been particularly important in the rethinking of advanced digital design processes. As showcased and examined in this volume, from the earliest projects and regardless of scale, Archi-Tectonics has valued performance over form, design intelligence over style. Through prototypes and mock-ups, process documentation and testimonials, the book presents 10 current and recent projects that celebrate the particular and singular over the ideal and universal.''

''How will we live together?'' The extensive publication for the exhibition of the Slovenian Pavilion at the 17th International Architecture Biennale seeks to answer this question through research on community centres in Slovenia. By unearthing and presenting the large-scale project of building more than 350 cooperative centres that began 70 years ago, it reveals how these centres have seen changes in the political and economic system, taken on new uses, shaped local communities, and remain relevant today. A closer look at this history provides a better understanding of indoor public spaces as social infrastructure that fosters interaction, communication, and empowerment.

Résumé:
BRUTHER is the Paris-based architectural studio launched by Stéphanie Bru and Alexandre Theriot in 2007. Describing architecture as a ''combat sport'', the duo rose to international prominence in 2014. Competitions, experiments, and investigations, are all part of a work process they see as a strategic game, a balancing act between abstraction and function, diversity and uniformity, opacity and transparency. This edition presents the full extent of their work through 29 projects, ranging from collective housing and cultural and educational institutions to pavilions and exhibitions. While many are small in scale or unbuilt, they nevertheless allow an in-depth look at the practice.

Résumé:
Le Corbusier Redrawn presents the only collection of rendered original drawings (at 1:200 scale) of all twenty-six of Le Corbusier's residential works. Using the original drawings from the Le Corbusier Foundation's digital archives, architect Steven Park has beautifully redrawn 130 perspectival sections, as well as plans, sections, and elevations of exterior forms and interior spaces. These new drawings-which combine the conceptual clarity of the section with the spatial qualities of the perspective-not only provide information about the buildings, they also help students experience specific works spatially as they learn to critically examine Le Corbusier's works.

Nature All Around Us uses the familiar in order to introduce basic ecological concepts. It offers in twenty-five short chapters organized by scale, from the home to the neighborhood to the city at large. Various ecological concepts are approachably examined, from understanding why a squirrel might act aggressively towards its neighbor to how nutrients and energy contained within a discarded apple core are recycled back into the food chain. Streaming through the work is an introduction to basic ecology, including the dangers of invasive species and the crucial role played by plants and trees in maintaining air quality.

Résumé:
Twenty-five recent residential projects from around the United States take the concept of “green living” to the next architectural level. Going beyond the simple use of sustainable materials, these houses are designed to frame a very particular vision of nature for their owners that brings them as close as possible to nature while remaining indoors. Featured are dynamic designs by today's most energetic architectural firms including ARO, Tod Williams/Billie Tsien, Diller Scofidio + Renfro as well as up-and-coming smaller firms. Houses vary in scale, complexity, and site to give a broad survey of the potential of this cutting-edge approach.
