This 2G monograph celebrates the craft and ingenuity of MOS, the Harlem-based architecture and design studio founded by Hilary Sample and Michael Meredith in 2005. Recipient of the 2015 Cooper Hewitt, Smithsonian Design Museum National Design Award in Architecture, MOS is responsible for a variety of international projects, from private residences to art studios and community centers, which draw on and combine a consistent vocabulary of readily identifiable shapes from its own architectural catalog—chimneys, corridors, courtyards, roofs, windows.
