Résumé:
The Dulwich Picture Gallery in the south of London was the world’s first purpose-built public art gallery. Founded in 1811, when Sir Francis Bourgeois RA bequeathed his collection of old masters "for the inspection of the public," it opened its famous building designed by John Soane in 1817. To mark the museum’s bicentenary in 2017, Dulwich Picture Gallery commissioned the first temporary summer pavilion on its grounds. For the second edition of the Dulwich Pavilion in 2019, the commission was awarded to London-based architects Dingle Price and Alex Gore in collaboration with British artist Yinka Ilori. This elegant large-format book documents this piece of built poetry in a series of striking atmospheric photographs by Sophie Roycroft. Concise essays by Job Floris and Sumayya Vally situate the project within its social, political, and cultural context and are complemented by technical details and selected plans and drawings on and inside the book’s cover.

Résumé:
"What black is this you say?", by Amanda Williams, convenes a broad set of contributors to respond to her own eponymous public artwork at Storefront for Art and Architecture in New York City (2021–2023). In this collection, the 17 colors and captions that appeared on the facade of Storefront—the project began as a series of Instagram posts of different hues of black, paired with witty and incisive comments on the multiplicity of Black culture—are expounded upon in poems, essays, and prose. With this anthology, Williams deliberately departs from traditional art criticism by gathering an intimate ensemble of her peers, friends, and collaborators, including Roxane Gay, Corinne Bailey Rae, and J Wortham, to comment on her work.

The project was conceived as a giant exhibition space of urban best practices for public art and design.

Publication of a triennial exhibition devoted to ephemeral public art. In this second edition the objective was to select an area of the city of Montreal and invite artists to use it as a space for research and creation for the entire summer of 2004. Thus Montreal's Mont Royal park, and specifically the Olmsted Path which crosses it, were chosen for their significant features, rich histories and public affection. Participating artists include Raymond Gervais, Michel Goulet, Daniel Olson and Alan Storey. An essay is accompanied by texts on each individual work as well as an introduction to the event.

Résumé:
Published to commemorate David Hammons’s (b. 1943) public art project ''Day’s End'', located in New York City, this book documents the sculpture and offers broader context into Hammons’s enigmatic work. In 2014, Hammons sent the Whitney Museum of American Art a sketch for a monument to Gordon Matta-Clark (1943–1978), paying homage to Matta-Clark’s legendary ''Day’s End'' (1975)—an industrial, cathedral-like space of altered architecture—once located near today’s Whitney in Manhattan’s Meatpacking District. Completed in 2021, Hammons’s work, also titled ''Day’s End'', was realized by the Whitney in collaboration with Hudson River Park, and is on permanent view. One of the most important artists working in the United States, Hammons makes art across mediums, often outside traditional venues. In addition to photographic documentation, the book includes essays on the origins of ''Day’s End'', Hammons’s career scope, and a contribution by poet Ben Okri.

" Techno Textiles 2 " has been thoroughly revised and updated to showcase the latest developments in the field, and includes 80 per cent new illustrations, all in colour. The book is divided into three sections : "Innovations" which explores how the newest textiles are dreamt up and made. "Applications" – from fashion and design, to architecture and art.
