Removing a physical bound is always a strong experience with important effects at social and psychological level.
On december 2007 Slovenija was going to become eventually another country of the Eurepean community, therefore there was a need to remove the former border stations, as a sign of the time.
In spite of the chance to re-use them in another better way, it was decided to destroy them.
