The CCA Youth Collective is a ten week program for 15–18 years-olds to explore and understand architecture and the city through a critical lens, culminating in the making of a publication. Beginning on the 1st of October and concluding on the 3rd of December 2026, the sessions will take place every Thursday from 5pm to 6:30pm.

This workshop allows teenagers to further develop their interest in design, architecture, and art. With the CCA’s Public and Publications teams, participants will develop an open research project. This year, participants will produce a zine publication that shares their research on urbanism from their perspective and through a medium of their choice: photography, drawing, writing, graphic design, etc. They will learn about book-making and publishing—from conception to production—resulting in a zine that will be printed and distributed at the close of the program.

On completion of the program, we are happy to support participants by providing professional references and volunteer hours.

This is a free bilingual program, open to 15 candidates from across Montréal. The call for participation is open now, please apply here until 21 September.
