The Archaeology of the Digital exhibition series, presented at the CCA between 2013 and 2016, allowed us to expand our reflection on the presence and use of digital tools in architecture. The acquisition of diverse types of materials related to the design projects exhibited made evident the importance of developing a preservation strategy for the CCA’s born digital collections.

During this conference, we aim to share the expertise gained while developing procedures and tools for our digital preservation program.

Presentations will primarily be in English and will be live-streamed on the CCA YouTube channel.

Financed within the framework of the Montreal Cultural Development grant awarded by the City of Montreal and the Québec ministry of Culture and Communications.
