“Intelligent” personal assistants by the name of Siri, Google Assistant, and Alexa now tend to our daily needs by performing everyday tasks and services. However, behind their helpful attitudes, these friendly devices also gather information about us. These insights into our needs and desires are then sold to companies that want us to buy more of their products.
For Montreal Museums Day, come and interview an intelligent assistant and reverse the relationship. Inspired by its answers, we’ll design a dream product or home customized just for it.
For children ages 6 to 13 accompanied by an adult.
This workshop explores themes and ideas from the exhibition Our Happy Life: Architecture and Well-Being in the Age of Emotional Capitalism.
