7:30PM: Screening of Akornatsinniittut – Kiinappalik (Among Us – The Masked Man) (Marc Fussing Rosbach, 2021, 78 min, in Kalaallisut (Greenlandic), with English and French subtitles)

This summer, join us in the park for outdoor film screenings, games and performances from Inuit artists as part of Tillitarniit at CCA – Many Hands. For horror night, we will be screening the final film in Marc Fussing Rosbach’s Akornatsinnlittut (Among Us) saga:

Mio and Nukappi bonded together at the same orphanage and their brotherhood is evident as they grow into young men being trained by the local shaman. They face their biggest enemy, Kiinappalik, who commits murder to further their cause. It is up to Nukappi, with the help of Mio, to find out what Kiinappalik wants. By facing their greatest fears, will they be able to stop Kiinappalik or be swallowed by the darkness?

Born in Denmark, Marc Fussing Rosbach has worked as a visual effects artist, composer, director, and editor for film, TV and music video productions in Kalaallit Nunaat (Greenland). He was also a TV host for Nuuk-based Tumit Production and is the CEO and founder of Furos Image.
